Position Summary
The role is responsible for providing technical support on enterprise product (Server, Storage and EMC) through hotline troubleshooting to solve the issues of after-sales service.
Principle Responsibilities
- Provide technical support on high-end products(Server/Storage/EMC/Advanced Software) to the customer through hotline troubleshooting
- Investigate the root cause of the issues further to make sure of the issue resolved timely
- Solve most of software issue through telephone communication and send the onsite engineer to solve the hardware failure and follow it up till closed.
- Maintain the best customer satisfaction and customer experience by prompt, professional solution to solve the customer's issue and good communication skill to delight the customer.
- 24x7 night support and frequency over time working is necessary
- With aggressive activity and interests to deal with both technical issue and non-technical complaint.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor degree in computer science, electronic, information and so on related technical field.
2. 3~5 years experience in IT technical field. The related working experience on technical support is preferable.
3. With the good technical background on the computer high-end product such as servers based on Intel architecture, storage, ape backup unit and EMC product.
4. Be familiar with the installation and troubleshooting on the related software such as NT, W2k advanced server, W2K3, SQL server, Exchange server, backup software, Red Hat Linux etc. The good experience with Sco Unix, AIX, Solaris, HPUX, Novell, Oracle is still preferable.
5. MCSE W2k or W2k3 is required. CCNA, CCNP, RHCE, CNA CNE, HPUX/Solaris/AIX certification are preferable
6. Strong responsibility and accountability are required
7. Cantonese Speaking is required.
8. Fluent English skill in writing and speaking.
9. Good customer communication skill and customer sense are preferred.
